In August 1997, the property owners of the Town began receiving a monthly publication called Town Notes. This newsletter was designed to provide information to residents and non-residents about the activities of the Town.

Town Notes focuses on the actions of the Mayor and Town Council in and out of Council Meetings, of the various citizen committees and boards, and of Town staff in regard to policies and procedures. It provides timely information about meetings, public hearings, and happenings on Kiawah and in our neighboring communities.
