Community Association

Kiawah Island Community Association, Inc. (KICA) is a mandatory-membership, not-for-profit corporation which manages the business and property that contribute to the overall ambience and property values of Kiawah Island. KICA maintains the millions of dollars worth of roads, ponds, landscaping, leisure trails and other infrastructure built and conveyed by the developer. These facilities are owned in common by all Members, and help to enrich life on this barrier sea island. KICA also enforces the Covenants and Rules & Regulations which help preserve our property values, oversees island access, gate operations and roving patrols, and operates the Sandcastle Recreation Center.
