Women in Music - Big Band
A fourteen piece, all female, big band led by conductor and song stylist Nancy Clayton, will be performing on Kiawah Island at the East Beach Conference Center on Saturday February 2, 2008 beginning at 7:30 PM.
This unique musical assembly will focus on songs of the Big Band Era featuring Waltzes, Dixieland, Beach, Pop, Cha-Cha, Tango, Rhumba, Bossa-Nova, and more. Performance Attendees can expect to hear, dance, and sing to songs like:

And many others. Ms. Clayton is also leader of the acclaimed Lowcountry band known as Charleston’s Premier Big Band which has worked in the area for over 20 years. She is well known as one of the finest jazz vocalist’s in the Charleston/Lowcountry area. This qualifies as a performance not to be missed.
