INVITATION FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS 

The Town of Kiawah Island invites interested licensed General Contractors to submit construction bids for the TOWN OF KIAWAH ADA PROJECT, located in Kiawah Island, South Carolina.  Bids will be received by the Owner, The Town of Kiawah Island, at Kiawah Island Town Hall, Kiawah South Carolina, beginning January 19, 2012 until 2:00 PM on February 16, 2012 at which time said bids will be publicly opened.  The envelopes containing the bids must be sealed and addressed to The Town of Kiawah Island, and designated as a Construction Bid for TOWN OF KIAWAH ADA PROJECT.  A Pre-Bid Conference (attendance mandatory) will be held at the project site located at 21 Beachwalker Drive, Kiawah Island, SC 29455 on February 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM.  Kiawah Island Invasive Plant Study

Dr. Joel Gramling is planning to visit Kiawah on numerous Friday afternoons in January, February and March and would like to get an idea of who and how many would be interested in assisting him with the vegetative survey of the island.

Please email Dr. Gramling at joel.gramling@citadel.edu with the day or days that you are interested in joining him. A confirmation will be sent out early in the week designating a meeting place for that Friday. If the group for a given day gets too large, the group size will be limited and alternate days will be suggested. Town of Kiawah Island Application for Accommodations Tax Funds

The Town of Kiawah Island State Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee will meet Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. to consider new applications for funding for fiscal year 2012-2013. The meeting will be held at the Municipal Center located at 21 Beachwalker Drive, Kiawah Island, SC 29455 in the Council Chambers. To be considered, the completed application must be received by the Town Treasurer by noon on March 7, 2012 and you must attend the March 20th meeting.
