CodeRed

CodeRed calls programmed telephone numbers and delivers a pre-recorded message to whoever answers or to an answering machine. This system will be used in emergency situations and for any other situation deemed appropriate by the Town. Examples of potential messages include an evacuation alert, ‘boil water’ advisories and road work notices.

The CodeRed system already has Kiawah Island phone numbers pre-loaded. However, if you are new to the Island or if you want to have an alternate phone number or a cell phone number in the system, you may:

1. Enter your information online NOTE: Use your Kiawah address in the address field.

2. Town Does It. Be sure to include your full name, Kiawah Island property address and phone number(s) in body of the email and list “CodeRed” in the subject line of your email.
