Essential Prescription Delivery Now Available
The Town has worked with Vincent’s Pharmacy and our Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) to begin providing essential prescription delivery for high risk or homebound individuals on Kiawah Island. All orders will be screened by Vincent’s Pharmacy to ensure they qualify for this service based on the prescription and circumstances of the patron. This service will begin Tuesday, March 31, and continue to operate on Tuesdays and Fridays only.
Customers interested in this service should:
- Call Vincent’s Pharmacy at 843 -243-0007 to place your prescription order. If it is determined you meet the above criteria for this service, Vincent’s will let you know.
- If so, Vincent’s will process payment over the telephone.
Vincent’s Pharmacy hours of operation are:
Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Prescriptions will be delivered between the hours of 3 – 5 p.m. The prescription holder must be home at the time of the delivery to accept the prescription. The CERT member will call the patron upon arrival at the residence to notify the resident they are there. If no one answers the call, the prescription will be returned to Vincent’s.
Important Medical Notice
Patrons should give adequate time for their prescriptions to be filled. We encourage anyone with critical medications to strictly monitor their prescription quantities and leave plenty of time for the process.
