Adult tickets are priced at $20 each, significantly below ticket cost to hear the CJO at the Charleston Music Hall downtown. Tickets are moving briskly, and as you may remember from last year’s CJO performance, we sold out even after adding an additional 50 seats! Therefore, don’t wait until the last minute to purchase your tickets.
“Not only is Stevie known for his mastery of songwriting, vocals, and proficiency on multiple instruments, he has ALWAYS been a tremendously passionate humanitarian,” notes Charlton Singleton, CJO Music Director. “Even though he is best known for his R&B and Pop tunes, it is no secret that he plays, writes, and uses a number of jazz elements in his music. The biggest challenge is whittling down the song list to 90 minutes – there are so many classics to choose from!”
We are extremely fortunate to have an ensemble as talented as the CJO here in the Charleston area, and if you attended last summer’s show you know exactly what I’m talking about. Joining the CJO for this performance will be Quiana Parler, who’s competed on American Idol and toured with Clay Aiken. She’s also performed on the View, SNL, NBC’s Today Show, and Good Morning America to name just a few.
Act quickly for tickets to see LIVING IN THE CITY, by far and away the CJO’s most popular offering this past season, as they pay tribute to Stevie Wonder, a living musical legend!
