State Accommodations Tax Application Period Opens

With remaining funds available for the 2022-2023 fiscal year, the Town has reopened the application period to consider new applications from interested parties for State Accommodation Tax Funding. To be considered, the completed application must be received by the Town Clerk by 2:00 pm on August 30, 2022. 

The Town of Kiawah Island State Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee will meet Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 1:00 pm to consider new applications. The meeting will be held at the Municipal Center at 4475 Betsy Kerrison Parkway, Kiawah Island, SC 29455, in the Council Chambers Meeting Room. All applicants must have a representative at this meeting to discuss and answer questions of the Committee. Any application received where a representative is not present will not be considered. 

2022/2023 September SATAX Application & Letter of Introduction.

Application Submission Deadline: August 30, 2022, at 2:00 pm. 

Application Review by SATAX Committee: Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Town Hall. Application selections are not finalized until Town Council approval. Applications must be received by the Town Clerk by 2:00 pm on August 30, 2022.
