Support for Mt. Zion Elementary & CCSD
With the school year approaching amidst many unknowns, Kiawah residents are invited to consider making a contribution to local schools. Mt. Zion Elementary, a Title I school on Johns Island, has been the recipient of Kiawah residents’ kindness previously. Resident Wendy Kulick is accepting donations on behalf of Mt. Zion Elementary, as supply needs are changing.
To donate, make your checks payable to “Support Mt. Zion Kids” and mail them to Wendy Kulick at 38 Marsh Edge Lane, Kiawah Island, SC 29455. If you have any questions, contact Wendy (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Another way to help Mt. Zion students is shopping at stores which support local education programs. At Harris Teeter, ask your cashier to enter the school number “3455” when you use your VIC card. A portion of what you spend is donated to Mt. Zion each time you purchase “Together in Education” items. If you have a Target credit card, you can register on the Target website for Mt. Zion Elementary to have a portion of your purchases donated.
No volunteers will be permitted in CCSD schools for at least the first semester. If there is a way to volunteer virtually, that information will be communicated.
