Construction Board of Appeals

The Construction Board of Appeals (CBA) is empowered to hear appeals regarding decisions and interpretations made by the Town's Building Official.

Members serve a three-year term. The CBA has two primary purposes:

1. Hear grievances and appeals regarding the application of the International Building Code, International Residential Code, International Mechanical Code, International Plumbing Code, International Fuel and Gas Code, International Fire Code, International Energy Conservation Code, International Property Maintenance Code, International Existing Building Code, International Swimming Pool and Spa Code, and the National Electrical Code. 
2. Provide educational opportunities for contractors.
